Hi everyone,

I have a small question. Does anyone know what the maximum amount of
hard disk space allowed on any one hard disk for a Windows XP computer
is ? I had heard somewhere that you can't have over 237GB of disk space
on one hard disk in a XP machine.

Let me explain what i mean. I know that you can have 4x 200GB hard
disks in an XP pc ( that is what I have ;) ) but if you changed it to
be 4x 250+ GB or even just 1x 250+ GB then the XP machine would crash..
Is this correct ?

Thanks for your time.

False information. While I don't know the absolute maximum size, with XP SP
1 or 2 installed it is much over a terabyte in size. Currently have many
systems with 300 GB drives, one partition, in them. The limit is on older
motherboards and XP without SP1 or 2 installed and that is 137 GB of
addressable size in a partition.

Perhaps you need to read folks who know what they are talking about.
