I'm running windows XP SP1 with all updates. When I click on a we-shortcut, my IE window never opens maximized! How does one correct this?
TIA

If you truly want it "Maximized" for whatever reason, right click the
shortcut, click properties and in the "Run" window pick Maximized. That
will only Maximize that particular shortcut and not any links you may click
on within IE. What you may want to do is stretch the window with the mouse
and then click File and Close. Do that with the shortcut and then when you
click on a link in IE and all the windows you open in IE will be the size
you stretched it to. This also works in OE and Windows Explorer.
