MathType works far better in Word than it does in Power Point. To effective
use it in power point I need to include all text and bullets with my
equations in MathType and insert the entire thing into Power Point. I
contacted MathType about this issue and they said Power Point does not have
the necessary hooks to allow equations to be inserted into the text within
Power Point. Will this be fixed in a future release?

There are no Microsoft personnel on this site, all volunteers. You'll just
have to wait until the next version released.

I can't say, but I'm guessing it won't.

Word is a container for streams of text and pictures and OLE content (such as your
MathType equatifons), all of which can appear "in-line" within the text.

PowerPoint is a container for various shapes, some of which can be text shapes, but the
text shapes themselves can't contain other content (like MathType equations).

I doubt that'll change, as it'd require a fundamental re-engineering of PPT.

You might want to experiment with creating your text with included equations in Word, then
copy/pasting them into PowerPoint. That's one common way to get around PPT's text
limitations.
