Matching address

Hi

I am trying to compare two records.
Worksheet A has:
address record in Field A2:A3000
unique key in Field B2
X data in C2
Y data in D2

Worksheet B has:
address record in Field A2:100

I tried to use a VLookUp to match WorksheetB.A2 with
WorksheetA2:A3000

It is mis-matching ie putting the wrong record in WorksheetB.B2

Any suggestions??
