Hello All,
I thought that I understood the MATCH function, but
I can't seem to get it to work on the simplist of
cases. I have the following contents in colum A1:A25,
ED
ATM -
EW
ED
C1131
EW
ED
DEP
EW

C1133
EW

DEP
C1134
EW
OTH
C1130

I'm only trying to use MATCH to determine what
row "C1130" (for example) appers in, i.e.: 22.
But when I use the match function:
=MATCH("C1130",A1:A25)
I get "N/A"
All of the C**** values are unique in my full
array, but it can't seem to locate the row
properly.
Thanks in advance for any imput on this one!
Peace.
