Master Slide

I have created a Master Slide that has 2 text boxes. I have created
numerous other slides with my portfolio photos. As each slide fades in
& out the text in the master slide fades with the photos. How can I
make the master slide be permanant whilst the photos fade in & out.
HELP!

I'm not sure exactly what you're after here, Michael.

Do you need both text and the photos on the slides? Or would changing
the slide layout on the photo slides to a blank layout or title only
layout work?

Need a bit more information from you, though, I suspect. What version of
PPT, do you have animation set on the text on the master slides, do you
have text on both the regular master slide and the title master, do you
have animation on the photos, do you need the text on all the slides,
you get the idea...

I have PPT 2000 V9.0 - Yes I want my pics and the text at the same
time but not the text fading. I've got slide of 20 pictures, they
appear in the middle of a screen with the text of my master slide at
the top - this text show my name and phone number, which I want to
remain constant whilst the pic show happens. I I have NO animation on
the text on the master slide. THANKS

Okay, I think I understand better.

Something to check. Go to View/Master/Slide Master and put your text on
both the Title Master and the regular Slide Master. I'm wondering if the
slide layouts you've chosen are contributing to the problem. Maybe. Does
the text fade as you move from slide to slide? That would probably point
to the next not being on one of the slide masters.

I'm a bit lost to be honest, I'm a Powerpoint novice. Could I be
really really cheeky and ask if you would look at it, if I emailed you
it. It will probably take me hours to get it right and you, 2
minutes!!

Sure, you can be cheeky and ask, but whatever you've already emailed, I
haven't received.

Why don't you email me just a couple of slides. Don't post them to the
newsgroup, though.
