Please reply back if that seems to work. When I had that problem my fonts file was empty. And I googled around and found that this issue with the Marlett font was not unusual. The common thread I found so far was the quick clean. When I had purchased this some time ago it was for a windows 98 SE at the time. So I suspect it doesn't play nice sometimes with XP. And it was causing an issue with the recycle bend. So I uninstalled the program. What it did can be done by other programs. I was able to reinstall thanks to a fellow at Techtv who guided me to the correct area to reinstall my fonts since nothing other than icons was readable. Since then this issue has not reoccured. As much as I like Mcafee products like the virus and firewall protection, that program is questionable. And they are not likely to admit this type problem is being caused by there product. Nick
