when i used Outlook97, instead of having my sent email saved in the
sent items folder, i would send them to the deleted items folder.
when this was done, the sent email was automatically marked as read.
now, i am using Outlook 2003 and i can not seem to be able to do this.
any ideas?

Why do you want your sent mail moved to the Deleted Items folder? Why not
just turn off the option to save Sent Items?
