Using Outlook 2000. I want to delete an old message from
the Outbox but can't. I've tried all the different delete
steps but it doesn't delete. Whenever I send email, this
email message remains in the outbox and I get the
message:The Mapi Spooler has already begun transmitting
this message, (Account: 'mail.adelphia.net', SMTP
Server: "local Host', Error Number: 0x80040114).

I just want to delete this old message. It hangs up my
email function. Any ideas?

Create a new .pst file and make it the default. Close and reopen Outlook
and then go into the outbox of the old .pst file and delete the bad mail.
