Map IP and Port to name

I have a UPS that is accessed by browsing to 127.0.0.1:3052 is there a
way to map that address:port combination to a name. I know the hosts
file doesnt allow ports but can i maybe use a combination of the
services and hosts file?

You can always substitute 'localhost' for '127.0.0.1' in Anteaus' reply

Why not just install the agent on that machine & connect to it via the APC
software?

The agent runs through a browser window.

Yeah well the only option left is to use a browser favourite I guess.
