Map and user rights

Hi,

My users work on Windows 2000 professionnal sp4 FR ans Office 2000 sp3 FR.

To use the maps in Excel, I have to put them on "administrators"'group or
"power users"'group which is not very secure...

Do you know how my users may use the maps without allow them any special
rights ?

I don't have the French version. What is the maps feature? is it in a menu -
if so, which menu?

Rob,

It is in "Insert" Menu, then you select "Object" and in the list, you choose
"Microsoft Map" and the country.

I don't have Microsoft Map installed.

I suspect your question is not actually related to Excel, but to Microsoft
Map.
Your reading should start with Map help.

I've always been able to get a lot of information about rights by "spying"
on it's activities with tools like RegMon and FileMon from
www.sysinternals.com
