Manually adding printerdriver in TS2003

Hi,

I have a client with a HP PSC 2100 all-in-one printer/scanner that
is not included in Win2003 and want to set it up for local
redirection through MSRDC like on my other clients with other
printers.

I understand the ntprint.ini bit and how to reference the drivername
accordingly.

This is fine, but what about the driverfiles themselves? Will they
be added automaticly? If not, how can I find out which of the
driverfiles I really need?

I tried looking in

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\hewlett_packardpsc_21efe

...and it lists 40 files, surely not all these are needed on my
TS2003 setup.

Thank's for any advice.

Regards...

The idea with editing the ntprint.inf file is that you do *not*
install additional 3th party printer drivers on the server!
What you do is "trick" the server into using an other, existing
driver that is 2003 and TS-compatible.

All-in-one printers have a rather bad reputation on a TS.

Vera,

I've got the same issue as the initial post. What printer driver can
I use for the HP psc 2000 all-in-one that will "work" and "trick" the
server?

Thanks.
