Manual Uninstall of WDS 2.6

Hi,

i installed WDS 3.0 OVER WDS 2.62 without uninstalling the later first.
When I go to the 'REMOVE PROGRAM' window, neither WDS 3.0 or previous
version appear in the list. Is there any manual way to uninstall
everything and start over??? I keep gettting "OUTLOOK CANNOT PERFORM
YOUR SEARCH"

It worked fine with previous version, but not know since I installed
3.0 w/out unistalling first.

BTW, i don't have a restore point that incudes the original point where
I installed the previous version of WDS. I need a true manual remove!
 
Not recommended. Do you see MSN Toolbar? uninstall that one and restart the
installer for WDS 3.0 it will either ask you to install or repair/reinstall.
Note that you must give Outlook time to build the initial index. Currently
there is an issue with WDS that for small queries with lots of results it
will tell that it cannot find anything. Just narrow down your search to work
around this.

When I open MSN desktop search it states that I need to install desktop
for this function, please download to install and execute.

I just want to dump WDS 2.6, one way or the other and install WSD3.0.

can't figure out how to make this happen without destroying everything.
isn't there a switch I can uee?

I really just want the procedure to manually uninstall windows desktop
search. I am unable to search keywords within MS OUTLOOK 2007.
