Manipulate midi sound volume.

I open my presentaion with a midi sound file that plays thru a series of slides. At the end of those series of slides I would like to decrease the volume of the song so that I can narrate the remainder of the presentation with the song playing in the back ground. Does any one know how I can accomplish this.?
 
There is an add-in that allows the volume to be changed on a per slide
basis. It's good stuff:
