I don't have any information in the systems info box.
(start/programs/accessories/system tools-system info.)
The right pane says that it "cannot access the Windows
Management Instrumentation software". "Windows
Management files may have been moved or are missing".
There aren't any system related *.nfo files in any of my
files hidden or otherwise? All services are running
properly w/no obvious issues, I'm stumped and I
desperatly need some help. Any input would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks.

If your system is installed at C:\Windows, does
C:\Windows\System32\Wbem
appear early in the system path.
At a cmd prompt enter
path
The system path should begin
C:\Windows\System32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;

Thanks Roger,
I went ahead and did a reload/repair this afternoon and
took care of it. Curious incident though and I still
can't make anything of it. But I do appreciate your
effort. My new issue is that after the reload everything
was fine, I reinstalled my application accelerator and
now in "my computer" my dvd-rw and my cd-rw just show as
cd-roms but in "device Manager" in System Info within
control panel they show as the correct devices. Plextor
CD-RW and Pioneer DVD-RW...etc... I've installed them,
reinstalled them changed drivers and reconfigured them
till I couldnt stand it anymore. I though it had
something to do with admin services but it does'nt seem
to? Any thoughts would be welcomed!
