I have tried this every which way and it doesn't want to work. I have tried
it with a machine on a domain and one without. So basically I have a
sharepoint site I don't want to continually login to so I set it up in
managed passwords and when I go to the site it retains all the information
but continues to ask for the password. It will not login automatically.

Please help
Thanks

Go to the tools menu in IE and enable auto filling for forms and passwords.

I personally suggest using Firefox or a password manager such as the Norton
one.

Good luck

Windows XP pro SP2 supports this so why should buy some 3rd party software.
Is there a patch to fix this. Everything seems to work but the password
does't keep everytime I go to the site it always prompts me for a password

Vince, I suggest you repost. When you repost, please make a good post.
It is vital to be specific and to use punctuation. Read your post several
times before you send it to see if you have omitted any details that can
help others to help you.

As I understand it, Win's pw manager requires you to type the first
character or 2 before it fills. I suggest you get Roboform. It's
great.
