How do you make a font become of the list of included fonts. GC Times is
listed under Font Styles but I would prefer them to be in the regular list.
Anyway to get it there?

Thanks.

Any font that is installed in Windows will be in Word's font list. Are you
describing something different?

I have come to see that CG Times is not installed. Although it will show
that font on the screen, it actually prints out something close to it -
probably Times Roman.

Thanks.

Ken

A Word document will always display in the Font box the name of the font
that was applied to text, even if it is not installed locally, but, as
you've seen, it will substitute another font for display and printing. CG
Times is a font commonly supplied with (and resident in) HP LaserJet
printers. If you have the install disk for such a printer, it may well have
TrueType versions of that and other fonts.
