hi, i just did a clean install of xp home on my main hd,
with ntfs. my whole family uses this computer, and i want
to be able to deny access to my secondary hd (where i
keep my files) to all other users. i am the only computer
administrator, and have already disabled access to my
folder in docs and settings. however, i have used tweakui
to change the personal folder "My Documents" to the root
of my secondary hd (D:). any directions would be great.

If you are the only member of Administrators group
and the secondary drive is E: at a cmd prompt you could
cacls e:\ /t /g Administrators:F
to reset permissions on all of E: so that Administrators
members have Full control and no other account has any
premissions.
This will only work if the secondary drive is NTFS formatted.
You could do similarly with the Security dialog in the properties
of E: while logged in to a F8 safe mode boot.
