making columns in word

I have just copied a long list for someone off the the web and placed it in
microsoft word, where it appears as one long narrow list. Which wastes
masses of paper space, since I need to print it off.

Is there a simple way of making two columns of this list 'side by side' on
each page? There is plenty of room for this, but I have no idea how to go
about it. Thanks for any assistance.

I'm sure there is a way and the experts in the Word newsgroup
would love to explain it to you. You are currently posting in

Yes there is. Select all text you want to place in columns. Goto Format->
Columns and select the number of columns you want.
