Please help! I want to create a transfer file wizard disk. When asked to pick
a drive to make the disk, my CD ROM and DVD drives are not in the drop down
list. I do not have an XP CD, only a recovery disk from E machines.
Removable memory disk drives (F, G,H, and I) are the options. My plan was to
use a cable connection. My old computer (WIN98) has an USB port. Could I use
a removable USB drive as a "floppy"? Thank you ahead of time.

Map a network drive (explorer, tools menu) that is the cd drive, and the FAST wizard should see that.

Map a network drive? I looked in Tools while an explorer page was open. Now
what? Please explain.

Mona,
Ferguson was talking about using WINDOWS explorer and you are trying to use
INTERNET explorer. But I don't think that it will work for you anyway. You
would need to be connected to a network. It would allow you to point to a
folder by using a drive letter, such as Z: Which is not what you are trying
to do. I don't know what the answer is to your original question, just the
answer to your second question.
