I have a a 20GB hard disc but it is partitioned and the "D" drive is only
2.73 GB. I have over 14GB free on the "C" drive and would like to transfer
some of that over to the "D" drive. How can I do it (please bear in mind I'm
an airhead).

You'll need a third party partitioning utility to do that. BootItNG works a
treats for such a task, and has a 30 day trial for use ($35 to purchase).

But if I were you, and this isn't anything personal, I would recommend
highly that you have someone good with this sort thing to do this for, since
you (hint that you) don't seem too estut e in your ability to do this.

Thanks Tom. I'm not a complete dunce but definitely not an anorak. I'll
take a look at the software and see if it seems user friendly.
