Making a duplicate record

I want to place a command button on my form that takes the current record,
duplicates it and then displays the new identical record. What is the best
way to accomplish this.

i'm trying to do almost the same thing. if you're interested see a post on
this group with subject "automatic record propagation" for the gruesome
details. what did you learn from your post, if anything?
