Hi, i have ISDN at the moment, and my connection goes stale every 2
days or so. It stays connected, but their is no more activity. If i
disconnect and reconnect all is fine again. I am often away and need
the connection going.

Is their a way i can cause the dialup connection to disconnect? A
program i can run on a timer? I can reconnect easily using a ciDial, i
just cant work out how to disconnect.

Or bvetter yet, can anyone reccomend a dialup manager that would allow
me to setup rules like this.

Thanks in advance

Hi ok, after some help from some people elsewhere here is the (simple)
solution to my problem.

To disconnect is a simple as
rasdial SERVICENAME /DISCONNECT

where SERVICENAME is the name of the service that is/was connected.

So if you have an internet connection named sale AOL you would use
rasdial AOL /DISCONNECT

Hope this maybe of use to someopne else out there :)
