I just wrote a simple program and I would like to make it look clean an
simple by removing all of the unecessary items from the menu. And b
limiting the viewing area. There is a plug-in called Mortgage Genie o
a website called moneycops.com. The program is free and it's a perfec
example of what I want mine to look like. Can anyone help me out here

that application/module/whatever is password protected hence you can't see
the code. Much of what is done can be achieved by recording a macro as you
create the effect you are looking for.

Personally, I find it quite irritating when an Excel "application" takes
over my Excel environment and, generally, screws it up for me ...
particularly when I want to access other spreadsheets at the same time.

Not only do you need to create the look and feel you want but you also need
to switch it off and on when you switch between spreadsheets ... and, of
course, leave everything as you found it when you opened your wonderful
application.

You may be better off, if you really want to continue down this track,
asking specific questions and/or searching the News Group(s) for code
samples for, for example, hiding the menu bars, hiding scroll bars, hiding
tabs, etc.

My advice: don't go there.

Regards

Trevor
