Make textbox text rotate 90 degrees -how?

How can I make the text of a windows textbox read vertically (i.e. rotated
90 degrees) from bottom to top instead of horizontally?

Any samples or ideas would be appreciated!

That's not supported by the control.

You will have to completely rewrite the control, partly using p/invoke
on Win32 API functions.

I agree with the MVP Herfried's opinion, this cannot be done with the
standard textbox control.
