Is there a way to make my journal entries private? I try clicking the
"Private" box in the lower right corner of the entry form but that doesn't
work (what is that for anyway? I share an outlook profile... OutlookXP

Outlook profiles are designed to be used by one person, not two.

There's no way for outlook to know which one of you it should be allowing
access to.

I suppose that is true... In theory... (you must not be married! LOL)
seriously thou, I was just wondering if there was a "tweak" to make journal
entries more private. After playing around with it, I did come up with a way
to "hide" an entry. I went to: View>Current View>Define Views,... made a
'New' view and gave it a Only By Me status..., in Filters I went to
Advanced> and gave: Field - (all journal items) Sensitivity; Condition - Not
Equal To; Value - Private.

When this 'view' is picked, all entries with a checkmark in Private box are
hidden.

While that works, remember that the other user can (if they know how) unhide
those entries.
