We made a 4'x80' 100 Years of Powered Flight display. We
would now like to make a slide show of the pages we
generated. We used Word to have image control within a 1
column 3 line table box to quickly generate the DISPLAY
IIMAGES which were cut out and pasted on the display.
We now would like to slide show the images. Currently the
images are on a single page doc file. The images vary in
size and location on the page. We would like to crop the
images to remove the white space and automatically convert
a format that can be used in a slide show program our
museum's guests can enjoy.
Any and all help will be very much apreciated.

I would use a good image capture utility such as SnagIt (unsurpassed in my
opinion) available via a link on my favourites web page and make a series of
images of the pages. SnagIt will allow scrolling so you get the full page,
not just what you can see. I would then use Windows Movie Maker 2 to combine
the images, add transition effects, sound etc to make a slide show.

An alternative approach would be to use PowerPoint to produce a slide show.
