I cannot get my Contacts list to show up in Word2003. I've looked at several responses on this list, and looked at FAQs. However I can't find a solution. I am using a new PC operating Windows XP with Office 2003 Professional installed. When I click on the "Insert Address" icon under Envelopes and Labels, I get an error messages that tells me to make OUtlook my "Default Mail Client". I've done just this under Options in Outlook. I don't want to mail merge. I just my Contacts list to show up so I can address envelopes as needed from it.

Check the internet options in Windows Control Panel and ensure that Outlook
is set there as the default e-mail application.
In Outlook - tools > e-mail accounts > view or change existing address books
and see what is displayed. An upgrade from an earliier version can result in
a few oddities here. Ideally you should just have Outlook Address Book
displayed - once! This is the component that displays the address book in
Word.
