Hi there,

After the weekend i opened my database and strange things are happening:

* I cannot save changes to my forms.
* My quit buttons have stopped working.
* My calendar pop up is debugging out.

any ideas? please h.e.l.p.
Note my database is quite large at 88,000KB - if this is the issue (but
didn't change over the weekend).

Thanks

George

Sounds like your database may be corrupted. I hope you have a current
backup!!! Backups are NOT optional!

See http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm for some causes and cures
of corruption. Note that not all types of corruption are curable.

Another note - 88MByte is not very big. You're limited to 2000-odd MBytes, and
100MB is still a very modest size database.

Yes, it does sound pretty corrupted.
I will revert to last weeks backup - hope is not a hardware issue as my pc
is 2 weeks old.
Thanks

Do keep a copy of the backup, and compact and repair. The corruption might
have started before symptoms ere evident. You could try compacting the current
database, it may work ok - read Tony's site suggestions.
