my computer sayes it only has 4% free space what am i doing wrong?

Have you performed a disk cleanup, (Start, Programs, Accessories, System
Tools, and then Disk Cleanup), to check - and delete temporary store files as
necessary?

Regards, Ka2H

How large is your hard disk and how much free space. Right click on
your C drive in Windows and select Properties to get this
information.

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp
to Empty your Recycle Bin and Remove Temporary Internet Files. Also
select Start, All Programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp,
More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest System
Restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

Hope this helps.

If you are utilizing your hard drive and filling it up and know what is
there - you are doing "nothing wrong"...
You are just running out of hard disk space and might consider an
upgrade/additional drive/archival.

From the little information you've provided, I can't see that you are
doing anything wrong. How much did you think you had free? People *do*
sometimes fill up their hard drives. You may need another bigger one.

Or you may be wasting space by using the default amount for restore
points, not deleting temp files, etc.

How big is your drive? How much is free? What do you have installed on
it? What programs? Big files (video, photos, music, etc.)? What
maintenance have you done.

Give us some information, and perhaps somebody can help.
