Main Switchboard A2003

I have set the main switchboard to auto open at start up. But when I click on
a button to open a form; the form opens ok but the switchboards remains on
top.

How do I hide the switchboard and set the focus to the open form?

Open your switchboard form in design view, and set its Popup and Modal
properties to No.
