I have just lost an important email from a friend whose email address I
had clearly marked as friendly but MailWasher deleted it. I am not only
annoyed that I lost my friends email on this occasion but that it might
happen again. My confidence in using MailWasher has been lost together
with the friendly email, what caused this and what can I do about it.

You need to contact support for that program. This isn't a Windows issue,
it's a program issue Derrick.

My apologies, I stand corrected, (or rather sit), I have in fact sent it
off to Firetrust who are the people responsible, thank you.

You can restore deleted email on Mailwasher if you have set it correctly

Larry.

Thank you for that but I had already done that and yet again, only this
morning I have lost several emails, all marked as friends. What's worse,
when I go to Tools, Statistics, Junk and can see the email in question
it won't give me the option to restore. incidentally, it says No, No, No
under Bounced, Deleted, Reported columns respectively. However, it does
not matter if it say Yes under each of those columns as in most cases
restore remains greyed out.

Where it offers restore there seems no reason for a difference so I feel
it must be something in my configuration of the filtering system?

I can restore from Tools/Statistics/Mail Log, and right clicking on
message to be restored.

Mustn't keep troubling you all any further with my MailWasher troubles,
just to say JD restore is greyed out for me for most, (but strangely not
all), of the emails I deleted. The option is not available to me and I
cannot tell why, that's my problem.
