I want to make up a set of mailing labels. I used the 'Labels' tool quite successfully in Windows 95, but have difficulty in understanding the process in Windows XP 'Word'. There does not seem to be a list of instructions that I can follow, as I could in W.95. Can anyone help, please?

Greetings --

What specific application are you trying to use to create these
labels? (There's no such thing as "Windows XP Word.) The operating
system (Win95 or WinXP) upon which the application is installed is
completely irrelevant. Have you looked in the Help files of the
pertinent application?

Choose Mail Merge. Labels is just for doing 1. Mail Merge will allow you to do many.
Tools menu and from there it depends on the version.

Well not exactly. It turns out that there were enough ops system changes
among the various windows versions to get a user in trouble with such things
as label printing. (Even using the same version of the application) (Word)
It seems that the way the printer drivers interface with windows has
changed, as have some of the windows modules involved in printing. Not to
mention the video subsystem.
