mailbox.pab?

My pc crashed and I'm trying to recover e-mail. I was running both Outlook
and Outlook Express. I thought my Outlook mail was in a *.pst file, and my
OE file in dbx files. Where does mailbox.pab fit in? It was obviously
updated everyday.
 
A pab-file is a Personal Address Book. Since Outlook 2000 it is only there
for backward compatibility. You can import the file into the Outlook
Contacts folder.
