I keep The connection to the server has failed. Account:
'(e-mail address removed)', Server: 'nycap.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0Egetting this

And I do not have the SSL check so whats going on???

You don't have the correct server name. The incoming (POP3) server
should be pop-server.nycap.rr.com. While you are correcting that, make
sure the outgoing (SMTP) server name is smtp-server.nycap.rr.com.

Not sure why you mentioned SSL, but your error message shows
that part is correct (no SSL).

everthing is the same as my other mail ?? I am useing now Incredimail I get
my mail though them but not windows mail??Like I said evey thing is the same
I dont get it ??

If you are using 2 email programs to receive your mail, then the first one
you use is probably deleting the mail on the server before the second one
can get it.
Set both email programs to receive the email, but to leave the messages on
the server.

Why do you insist on using a server name that is different than what your
ISP specifies?

It appears you are not using the entire server names.

Incoming (POP) should be "pop-server.nycap.rr.com"
Outgoing (SMTP) should be "smtp-server.nycap.rr.com"

That doesn't jibe with what your error message says:
Server: 'nycap.rr.com'
