Tor Arne

I use to computers, both have outlook 2002, I use both to
read mail from a mail server. My mail settings is set to
leave a copy on the server for 10 days.

The server does not remove mail witch is over 10 days.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance!

Tor Arne

Tor Arne,
Are you counting the clock from last computer to access (download messages)
from the server? If one of the two accesses the server on day one, then the
second computer accesses it on day 9, it will start the clock again and set
the server to remove them 19 days from the first download. Also make sure
BOTH computers actually have the box checked to 'remove' the messages.

Hope this helps. Please post back either way.
Good Luck

The "clock" is not on the server, but is in Outlook. When Outlook does a
send/receive, it will also delete all messages that it downloaded longer
than that interval ago. What version of Outlook do you have?
