mail set up

Question question.. can someone kindly explain why windows wont accept the
saved user name and password to complete set up??? POP3 seems okay.. but
i've checked all possible ways and can't seem to get answers..

Free Yahoo accounts will not work in WM.
 
There are any number of reasons, you haven't provided enough detail to
determine which one. If you get an error message, please post it word for
word. If you're running an Anti Virus application that is setup to scan
your email, the email scanner is quite possibly at fault. More
information, please...

That can depend on many factors, and you haven't given us much to go on.
What type of mail account is giving you trouble, a free Yahoo account?
Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
