I have been able to reproduce the following error on Windows XP SP1, Office
2000 SP3 machines.

With any file open in Word, PowerPoint or Excel click File->Send To->Mail
Recipient (As Attachment). This opens a new message window with the file
attached. The problem is that this window cannot be minimized. The 'Restore
Down' and 'Close' icons work properly. In this state, you cannot return to
the main Outlook program window.

While in an office program, choosing the option File->Send To->Mail
Recipient instead of File->Send To->Mail Recipient (As Attachment) does not
create the problem.

Another scenario that produces the problem is right clicking a file from the
file system and choosing Send To -> Mail Recipient

This is very bothersome to the people I support. All advise is appreciated.

Known issue, happens in all versions of outlook. You need to either send or
save the message and close it if you need to use the application.

Is there a hotfix out for this issue? If not, is there one planned? Thanks in
advance
