Mail notification at log in screen

How the heck to I turn off that annoying message at the
log in screen that tells me I have unread messages?? I've
read the message (turns out it's junk) then tried
deleting the msn account but it won't go away?? I'd
really like to delete the passport as well as I hate
using Microsoft e-mail stuff, earthlink have just
relaesed a better e-mail service :)

On the contrary, TweakUI is an extremely useful program which I
recommend to everyone.

Although thahat's absolutely true, it's a very poor reason for
not using TweakUI. There's nothing TweakUI can do that can't be
done without it, but most of those things require registry
editing without TweakUI. Using TweakUI to do something instead of
editing the registry directly is both far easier and far safer.
