Hi

Having checked that the box marked "Send messages immediately" in Mail
Options is ticked I am mystified why my newly installed MS Mail, which came
as part of Vista, is not sending except when the program first opens up. To
send anything at the moment I have to quit the program and then open again!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you mean Windows Mail? If so, click on Tools, then Accounts, then
your email account, then Properties. If there is no check mark in the box
before Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing, click on
this box and then Apply. Click on OK and then Close.

Click on Tools, then Options. If there if no check mark in the box before
Send and receive nessages at startup, click on this box and then Apply.
Click on OK.
