I wasn't notified of a mail message recall request sent did it work? Was
the message recalled?

Did you opt when requesting the recall to get a notification back? Were
you using Exchange, and was the recipient also using Exchange, and was
it the SAME Exchange organization? Do you know that the recipient of
your original message has actually loaded Outlook yet to poll their
e-mail account to get your recall message?
