I have Outlook 2003 and Office 2002. So, I am not able to use the mail merge
feature. This is because the Outlook and the word version need to be the
same. But i want to use Outlook 2003 and use word 2002. Is it possible in
any way to achieve a mail merge with this?

I know this looks like a foolish question, but i wanted to give it a try.
Probably, there is some dll file that is responsible for thie mail merge
feature to work. Can i get it from some word 2003 computer and try a
workaround?

Any imput is greatly appreciated!

Thanks and Regards

Mail merge only works between the same versions as you have found out.

If you export the contacts as a .csv file or to Excel or Access, you'll be
able to use that file as the merge source.

Thanks a lot for the rapid response Sue. Appreciated!

Can you tell me as to how Outlook relates to Word?

Is there a DLL file which is responsible for the interfacing?

Thanks in advance.

No, I can't tell you that, because I don't know.
