Purchased a new PDA, it came w/Outlook 2002, I installed it. I try to do a
mail merge and it tells me I have to have the same version of WORD?????

I do not want to update to a newer version of Office until 2007..What
options do I have??? Can I Print labels in OUtlook?? Can I export to Word
and then jury rig it to work??? I only print labels about 6-7 times a year??

Can I uninstall Outlook 2002 and go back to 2000 and keep all my data
without losing anything??

What is the best way to go?

Ans since Outlook 2002 drives this process where is the backwards
compatibility??

Thanks for your assistance.

Yep. FOr integrated Office features, all Office apps must be the same
version.

I don't know of any way around it.

Sure. To be safe, make a copy of your PST file with Outlook closed.

The only version of Outlook that was able to integrate with more than one
version of Word was Outlook 2000 which would also use Word 97/98.
