Mail Merge from Excel to Word

Every time I do a mail merge for nametags from info in Excel into a Word
document (Avery labels) I lose 1 person per page. Ex: I have 40 nametags to
make, 8 people fit per page of labels - I should have 5 full pages. I end up
with 5 people missing - and for each page the person missing is the name
between the last name on that page and the first name on the next page. It
skips over them.
 
I suspect you have a «Next Record» field in every label. The first label on
the page should not contain this field (at least not at the beginning).
