Does anyone know how to surpress blank lines within Word 2003, when you are
trying to do a Mail Merge with Address Fields.

Without this facility you cannot guarantee the document remaining on one page.

Many thanks

Marcus

You should find that Word behaves that way by default, as longas you don't
have any other (typed) content on the line. IOW:

<<First>> <<Last>>
<<Address1>>
<<Address2>>
<<City>>, <<State>> <<Zip>>

If a record has no Address2 info, the City-State-Zip line will shift up.
However;

<<First>> <<Last>>
<<Address1>>
<<Address2>>, <<PO Box>>
<<City>>, <<State>> <<Zip>>

The City-State-Zip line will _not_ shift up even if there is no content in
Address2 or PO Box because of the comma & space typed between the two fields.

I believe this also works only if you end the lines with paragraph breaks
rather than line breaks (which I prefer).
