Hi. I have deleted emails but need to get one of them back. I don't seem to
have the folder when I go to import messages. How do I find out where my
messages are stored? I remember being able to retrieve in XP. I haven't
tried to with windows mail. Thanks

Your message is confusing.

In what program did you delete the messages?
What program are you trying to import them into?
Which program are you asking how to find the messages?

Hi, I had thought that I could retrieve emails deleted from my inbox by
going to the storage folder for windows mail but apparently I can't. I
can't find the storage folder. I won't worry now anyway. I will just have
to be more careful what I delete in future. It's not like I can restore
from recycle bin!

You can often retrieve such mail by going to the Deleted Items folder
under Windows Mail.

They're the EML files in the folders in
C:\Users\[UserNsame]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders
