I have duplicate personal folders in Outlook 2000. I am trying to remove the
duplicate files by following the instructions provided by Microsoft Office
Assistance. The instructions says that I change the direction of a .pst file
by going to Control Panel, click Mail then click Show Profies. When I click
Mail it just shows me Internet Accounts. What is wrong?

Confusing isn't it, but you should be using this path :

Control Panel|User Accounts|Mail |Show Profiles

Thanks Reberto for your response. When I go to user accounts there is no mail
just pick a task such as change an account, create a new account or change
log on or log off. Help!

Apologies, the machine I am working on is part of a domain, so I
believe you will not see the mail option in a stand alone machine ?.
Unless someone else can pitch in, perhaps you will be better off posting
to one of the Outlook NGs

In Outlook, with the Folder List displayed, right-click on the folder Outlook Today & select
'properties', then click 'Advanced' to view the path for the folder. Do the same for the duplicate.
Once you've determined which one you don't want, right-click again and select 'Close <FolderName>'
