macros without coding?

Attempting to create a macro in Outlook sends me into Visual Basic. I don't
understand it. I don't understand how to write code. Visual Basic's Help
section doesn't help at all.

When I use Word, I can create a macro by DOING exactly what I want the macro
to do. Is it possible to create a macro in Outlook the same way?

No, that's not possible. Most Office programs have no macro recorder. Word is one of the exceptions. In Outlook, you have to write your own code. If you explain what you want to do, there may already be a good sample you can start from.
