macros using action buttons

I can't seem to launch macros in ppt using action buttons. Jump to another
presentation using buttons works fine. In cant get it to work in office 2000
or 2003. Any ideas??
 
Your Macro Security might be set to HIGH. Click "Tools", "Options",
"Security" TAB, "Macro Security" button and set it to "MEDIUM".
 
What Bill said and...

Once you set the security to Medium, you will have to close any open
presentations and reopen them before the setting takes effect for a
presentation, and you will have to choose Enable Macros when asked.

What have you done to set the buttons up to launch macros?

What do you expect to happen when you click? What happens that shouldn't? What
doesn't happen that should?

Is the macro code in the same presentation?
