Macros disappeared

On the Tools Menu there is an option for Macro. When I go to the Macro area the option for Macros (hot key is ALt+F8) is no longer there. The only options are Security, Visual Basic Editor, and Microsoft Script Editor. When, in fact, I do an Alt+F8 the Macros menu show no macros. I had at least 5 of them. Does anyone know what happened/how to get these back
 
You could try to reset that toolbar.

tools|customize|toolbars tab
select Worksheet menu bar
and hit the reset button
(You'll lose any customization to that menubar, though)

And are you sure that the workbook that holds the macros is open?
